Purchasing Artwork
How do I purchase artwork from Orange County Arthouse?
Artwork can be purchased directly through our website or by visiting our gallery in Mission Viejo. If you have any questions before purchasing, we encourage you to contact us—we’re happy to help you make an informed decision.
Can I view artwork in person before purchasing?
Yes. We welcome visitors to explore our collection at our gallery during business hours. Seeing artwork in person is often the best way to appreciate its scale, texture, and detail.
Is every piece of artwork original?
Our collection primarily features original artwork created by talented artists. Individual artwork listings will indicate whether a piece is original, a limited edition, or another format when applicable.
Will I receive a Certificate of Authenticity?
When applicable, original artwork includes a Certificate of Authenticity provided by the artist and/or Orange County Arthouse.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Do you offer local delivery?
Local delivery may be available within select areas of Orange County, depending on the artwork and destination.
How are artworks packaged?
Every artwork is professionally packaged using materials appropriate for its size and handling requirements to help ensure it arrives safely.
How long will shipping take?
Delivery times vary depending on the artwork, destination, and shipping method. Estimated delivery times are provided whenever possible but are not guaranteed.
Can I pick up my artwork instead of having it shipped?
Yes. Complimentary gallery pickup is available by appointment. Once your artwork is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a convenient pickup time.
Returns & Cancellations
Can I return artwork if I change my mind?
Because original artwork is unique, sales are generally considered final. We encourage collectors to contact us with any questions before completing a purchase.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
Please inspect your artwork upon delivery. If damage is discovered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include photographs of the artwork, packaging, and shipping label. We’ll review each situation individually and work toward an appropriate resolution.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may generally be cancelled before they have been prepared for shipment or delivery. Once processing or shipment has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Artwork & Copyright
Do I own the copyright after purchasing artwork?
No. Purchasing artwork transfers ownership of the physical piece only. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
May I reproduce or sell images of the artwork?
Artwork images may not be reproduced, published, or used commercially without permission from the copyright holder.
Can I display my artwork publicly?
Collectors are welcome to display artwork they own in their homes, offices, or private collections. Commercial reproduction or licensing requires permission from the copyright owner.
Privacy & Security
Is my payment information stored by Orange County Arthouse?
No. Payments are processed through secure payment providers, and we do not store complete credit or debit card information on our servers.
Do you sell my personal information?
No. Orange County Arthouse does not sell or rent customers’ personal information.
