Vanessa Kay is an award-winning Orange County photographer whose work is rooted in beauty, connection, and the emotional power of a fleeting moment. During more than two decades as a professional photographer, she has created fine-art imagery spanning landscapes, wildlife, horses, and the relationships people treasure most.
With a background in animal science and veterinary technology—and a lifelong love of horses—Vanessa brings an especially intuitive sensitivity to photographing animals and the natural world. Whether exploring a remote landscape, watching wild animals in their environment, or capturing the quiet connection between loved ones, she is drawn to moments that feel alive with story and meaning.
Vanessa’s photography has received recognition at the Orange County Fair and other juried exhibitions. Her work is distinguished by rich color, expressive light, and a sense of wonder. Through each image, she hopes to offer more than a record of what a place or moment looked like—she wants the viewer to feel what it was like to be there.
